At the Ethiopian Community Association in Nashville (ECAN), we are dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich cultural history of Ethiopia. We believe that honoring our roots strengthens our community and fosters a sense of pride across generations. Through cultural education and traditional celebrations, we keep our heritage alive in Nashville.

 

በናሽቪል የኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበር (ኢማና) የኢትዮጵያን የበለፀገ ባህል እና ታሪክ ለመጠበቅ እና ለማጋራት እንተጋለን። ማንነታችንን እና እሴቶቻችንን ማክበር ማህበረሰባችንን እንደሚያጠናክር እና በትውልዶች መካከል ኩራትን እንደሚፈጥር እናምናለን። በባህላዊ ትምህርቶች እና በዓላት አማካኝነት ቅርሶቻችን በናሽቪል ደምቀው እንዲቀጥሉ እናደርጋለን።

Ethiopian Day (የኢትዮጵያ ቀን)

Our "Ethiopian Day" festival brings the community together to showcase traditional food, music, clothing, and art. It is a day of unity that invites everyone to experience the warmth and hospitality of Ethiopian culture.

 

የ"ኢትዮጵያ ቀን" ፌስቲቫል ባህላዊ ምግቦችን፣ ሙዚቃዎችን፣ አልባሳትን እና ጥበቦችን ለማሳየት ማህበረሰቡን በአንድነት ያገናኛል። ይህ ቀን የኢትዮጵያን እንግዳ ተቀባይነት እና ባህል ለሁሉም የምናስተዋውቅበት የኩራት ቀናችን ነው።

Victory of Adwa Celebration (የአድዋ ድል መታሰቢያ በዓል)

ECAN hosts annual events to commemorate the historic Victory of Adwa, celebrating Ethiopian sovereignty and African pride. We honor our ancestors' bravery through storytelling, historical presentations, and community gatherings.

 

ኢማና የኢትዮጵያን ሉዓላዊነት እና የአፍሪካውያንን ኩራት የሚያንፀባርቀውን ታሪካዊ የአድዋ ድል በየዓመቱ ያከብራል። የታሪካዊ ገለጻዎችን እና የማህበረሰብ ስብሰባዎችን በማዘጋጀት የአባቶቻችንን ጀግንነት እናዘክራለን።

ECAN Annual Sports Festival (የኢማና ዓመታዊ የስፖርት ፌስቲቫል)

This annual event promotes health and community bonding through athletic competition and fun runs. It celebrates Ethiopia’s world-renowned running legacy while encouraging fitness and togetherness within the Nashville community.

 

ይህ ዓመታዊ ዝግጅት በስፖርታዊ ውድድሮች አማካኝነት ጤናን እና ማህበረሰባዊ ትስስርን ያበረታታል። የኢትዮጵያን ዝነኛ የሩጫ ታሪክ እያዘከርን በናሽቪል ማህበረሰብ ውስጥ ንቁ የአኗኗር ዘይቤ እንዲኖር እናበረታታለን።
